Notes

Don't be afraid to generously underexpose this recipe to bring out the rich, warm shadows of Nostalgic Negative. This should also do a good job of protecting your highlights, despite the +2. Just be aware that foliage can start looking a little muddy, due to the shadows' naturally reddish tint. In some cases, such as indoors, the "Shade" white balance can be a bit too drastic. Switching to "Daylight" is a really quick fix that tones down the warmth but keeps the characteristics of the original recipe. I originally set the grain to strong/large, and sharpness to -4, because I really wanted to lean into the "faux analog" vibe of the recipe. If that's a bit too much for your liking, simply change the grain to weak/large, sharpness to -1, and use your personal judgment for clarity. Have fun with this recipe!
